The Respiratory Therapist (RT) provides comprehensive cardiopulmonary care in accordance with physician orders, departmental policies, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and nebulized medications safely and effectively,
- (Perform pulmonary function tests upload report interpretations send results to physicians communicate findings to clinical leadership) ,
- (Utilize incentive spirometry Flutter chest physiotherapy therapeutic exercises Omniflow other respiratory equipment for treatment testing) ,
- (Assess residents' conditions tolerance responses to treatments adjusting care plans as needed.) ,< li>(Formulate implement teaching plans for residents families promote understanding compliance with respiratory care)., < li > Accurately document all treatments assessments procedures resident's medical record . , < li > Maintain thorough knowledge use electronic health records EHR departmental forms flow charts logbooks. , < li > Ensure compliance organizational policies federal state local regulations professional licensure requirements .
