- Innovative Process Development: Spearhead the development of robust, error-proofed, and streamlined manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with customer and company standards.
- New Product Introductions (NPI): Possess an understanding of engineering principles to include developing, qualifying, and implementing new production processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data, aiming to enhance quality, reduce costs, and streamline delivery processes.
- Operational Support: Provide crucial support to daily production, ensuring the achievement of production targets while reviewing and implementing customer Product Change Notices.
- Documentation and Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation including Equipment Work Instructions and detailed reports. Offer training and guidance to engineers, technicians, and operators as needed.
- Quality and Compliance: Support adherence to the Quality Management System, maintaining a focus on creating a safe, ergonomic, and environmentally responsible workplace. Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations.
- Collaboration and Development: Engage in New Product Introduction (NPI) launch activities, contribute to site capabilities roadmap development, and attend relevant industry conferences, seminars, and training sessions.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering discipline is required. Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification is preferred. SMTA Certified Process Engineer is a plus.
- Experience: Solid process engineering background in the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) industry, preferably within high-reliability environments. Proven experience with various component types and processes including SMT, Thru-hole, Press Fit, Solder Rework, and more. Familiarity with RoHS, IPC-610, and J-STD-001 workmanship standards is essential.
