Network Security Analyst II – RSA Archer Specialist
Location:
Austin, TX (Onsite – Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Analyst II – RSA Archer Specialist to support enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting RSA Archer solutions while ensuring compliance with security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
This role requires strong expertise in RSA Archer, GRC processes, and system integrations, along with the ability to work independently on complex assignments and collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, configure, and maintain RSA Archer GRC solutions
Develop and support applications for:
Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
Controls Assurance
Issues Management
Custom applications
Gather and analyze business requirements; translate them into:
Solution designs
Configuration specifications
User stories and implementation plans
Configure Archer components including:
Questionnaires and forms
Workflows and approvals
Calculations and data relationships
Role-based access controls
Data feeds and integrations
Develop and integrate REST APIs and web services with enterprise platforms (e.g., ITSM, CMDB systems)
Implement client-side logic using JavaScript and jQuery
Maintain technical documentation, including:
System design
Testing and change management
Integration and deployment plans
Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and support production environments
Follow established change management and release processes
Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users
Required Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in Network Security / GRC / RSA Archer
Mandatory Certification (One Required):
Archer Certified Professional (ACP)
OR Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator – Expert
Strong expertise in:
RSA Archer architecture and configuration
GRC frameworks and compliance processes
Risk management and control assurance
Experience with:
REST API and web service integrations
JavaScript and jQuery customization
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience working in structured, change-controlled environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large enterprise or government GRC implementations
Familiarity with security frameworks such as:
NIST
ISO 27001
SOC
Experience integrating RSA Archer with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
Background in information security, risk, or compliance teams
Work Environment & Conditions
Onsite role – Austin, TX (No remote work)
Candidates must be local to the area
Work hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
