Position Overview:
The Revenue and Cost Accounting Manager , you will play a crucial role as a key member of our dynamic accounting team.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the production of timely and accurate accounting information that adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Additionally, you will provide essential accounting support to all divisions within our company, contributing significantly to our overall financial success and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on revenue and cost accounting principles
Preferred management experience
Hands-on experience with ERPs (experience with Dynamics SL and Solver preferred)
Ability to collaborate within teams and excel as an individual contributor
Proactive mindset with excellent task prioritization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Fully engages in month end-close process with the preparation of journal entries in accordance with deadlines.
Lead month-end closing processes for revenues and conduct monthly reconciliations
Execute daily revenue processes and support other accounting functions crucial to business operations
Prepare journal entries and maintain adherence to deadlines during month-end close
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations using Blackline software within specified timelines
Supervise accounting and billing team members
Ensure compliance with internal controls and propose process enhancements
Collaborate with accounting team members to streamline workflows and boost productivity
Generate month-end and ad hoc reports for business partners
Assist in budgeting and financial analysis activities
Coordinate with internal/external auditors
Monitor service agreements in the accounting system and process revenue weekly
Monitor project positions and process revenue daily
