Telehealth Psychiatrist

We partner with healthcare organizations to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end behavioral health solutions that combine evidence-based care pathways, advanced technology, and high-quality providers.We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed (or willing to be licensed) in TN.

Compensation: $300,000 plus bonus opportunity

Position Summary:

• Psychiatrist will see about 1-2 patient encounters per hour
• 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
• Monday-Friday with 1 weekend per month (4 holidays annually)
• An average of 30, 32, 36, or 40 hours per week options available for Full-Time
• Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring
• Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in ED as needed
• Utilization of the following EHRs Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core
• MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if Psychiatrist already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
• Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions. Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications
• MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models

Qualifications:

• Psychiatrist is required to be licensed in TN
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
• Valid and unrestricted DEA
• Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
