Part Time Day Shift at Vein Center

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular (arterial and venous), renal, aorta/iliac, and carotid artery disease.
- Prepare preliminary findings.
- Provide complex technical care using ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience as per the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Not specified.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.
- Must be registered as one of the following: Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI), or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RT(VS)).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred two years of experience in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting as a vascular sonographer.
