    Overview



    Global Travel Collection is currently seeking a Creative Content Manager - Social Media to join our Marketing Team. You will be an integral part of the day-to-day strategy, development and execution of social media & digital marketing campaigns. You are strategic, aesthetically-inclined and passionate about all things social media and will elevate our organic social presence across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok) with a focus on content creation, short form video/reels, copywriting, consumer engagement, analytics, reporting and more. This role is responsible for developing our Social Share program, including implementation, content strategy, execution and ongoing project management to support travel advisors who use this distributed social content solution to power their local social media channels.

    This role will be perfect for someone who is creative in the social media space, up-to-date and acts quickly on social media trends. You also have the ability to support our travel advisors in helping them create social media content that inspires consumers to book travel with a travel agent vs. on their own.     This role will be a remote work from home role with possible domestic and international travel requirements. In this role at Global Travel Collection, you will work across business units with a variety of departments, including Marketing, Creative (CGX), Advisor Success, Events, Human Resources, Communications and Technology.

    The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

    This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.





    Responsibilities

      MANAGE THE GTC SOCIAL SHARE PROGRAM - our subscription based distributed social content platform that posts social media on behalf of our travel advisors to their local social channels.
    • CREATE AND DEVELOP CONTENT - content creation will be a large part of this role, for both organic and paid social for the brand, in addition to content for the advisor social share program. This means sourcing beautiful images, taking photos, gathering photos from travel agents' trips, creating short form video and reels, writing copy, etc.
    • ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA - develop and post organic content for all Global Travel Collection's brand social accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.). Manage strategy and creation of every day social content in alignment with our business, travel trends and travel advisors as well as what drives the highest engagement rates, leads, impressions, etc.
    • PAID SOCIAL MEDIA - manage the content for ongoing paid social media campaigns for Global Travel Collection's FB and Instagram accounts.
    • TIKTOK, REELS & SHORT FORM VIDEO - develop short form video content such as Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc. Not only will you strategize and create ideas, but you will also create content and publish it across social media channels.
    • WRITE - You are not afraid to write your own social media content. Maybe you'd be comfortable to write a blog on a trending travel topic that would allow you to have a landing page for some of your high performing social content. You are very thoughtful in curating the proper voice, tone and copy based on the target audience, topics, etc.
    • BIG IDEAS -Strategize, create, and execute social media content ideas that can fill the needs of our consumer facing marketing channels as well as generating content travel agents and agencies to use to drive business (booking travel for consumers). You love to think outside of the box and create something new that you can create from start to finish.
    • REPORTING & ANALYTICS - Create analytics reporting on all organic social content to identify social trends and performance across a variety of content types, brands, etc.




    Qualifications

    • EDUCATION - a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is required.
    • EXPERIENCED - minimum 3-4 years of social media and marketing experience for a brand.
    • CREATIVE - you have an eye for brand and artistic direction; you understand layout, design, colors, typography and simply what looks good. You are able to translate brand strategy into a brand identity and keep consistent look and feel throughout all marketing channels and collateral.
    • PASSIONATE ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA - you must have a love for all things social media, from learning new trends, what works and what doesn't work, and a deep understanding of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
    • A CONTENT CREATOR - you love to create content, source images, take original photos, create short form video and reels.
    • A TEAM PLAYER - you have the ability to work across different departments. In this role you will be working with travel advisors on a daily basis so it's important that you have experience with integrated teams.
    • A WRITER - you know how to write creative and witty copy and adjust to brand tone.
    • LOVE FOR TRAVEL - we are a travel company, so it always helps if you have an affinity for the places, you are promoting and sharing
    • Knowledge working in Adobe creative suite, asana, image dams, canva, social publishing tools a plus
