    Descriptions

    In search of a talented, child and adolescent Psychiatrist to provide consulting, subject matter expertise, and targeted support to expand access to Medications for Opioid Use Disorder ( MOUD) for adolescents (ages with an Opioid Use Disorders and or Co- occurring disorders engaged in Community Service Board, Behavioral Health Administration or Primary care services.

    Qualifications

    Provider must be licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP) Board of Medicine as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    Be listed on DHP's website and must remain licensed for the duration of the contract.

    Be in active, good standing with the Virginia Board of Medicine, for the duration of the contract.

    Have experience/expertise in working with adolescents with substance use disorders or co-occurring SUD and mental health diagnosis.

    Have experience with adolescent-focused Medication-Assisted Treatment for prescription drug and opioid addiction.

    Work in collaboration with the Purchasing Agency to monitor spend and invoicing per the contract.
