    Summary:
    Candidate must have the ability to successfully perform housekeeping functions to a high standard. We are looking for highly motivated and reliable individuals with excellent timekeeping, to work in accordance with estate polices ensuring and supporting full implementation of the policies. Candidates are to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, all candidates must have English is first language. Candidates should have a broad understanding and empathy with the needs of older people with dementia. Candidates will also attend employee, team and supervision meetings as required with an expectation to provide a high level of internal and external customer service and privacy/confidentiality at all times.

    Required Skills:
    Clean rooms, hallways, and other living or work areas. Change sheets and towels; make beds; and wash, fold, and iron clothes. Empty wastebaskets, follow instructions for recycling and taking the trash out to disposal areas Replenish all supplies, such as soap, air freshers, and toilet paper. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Sweep, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and other floor-cleaning equipment using care on baseboards of the home. Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture. Must use the cleaning supplies requested by principal. Use a ladder to change out light bulbs. Clean and polish windows, walls, and woodwork. Lift and move lightweight objects and equipment A daily structured cleaning and care list is followed every day, filled out, signed and turned in daily to Principal directly to ensure all specific tasks are completed. Care for client's surroundings as necessary to maintain a safe environment. Must be able to assess safety of home situations for self and client · Must have the ability to follow instructions, both from client and the Housekeeping Coordinator. All candidates must have a flexible and "can do" attitude. All candidates are required to pass a background check. You may be required to work outside of normal hours and weekends.
