    Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Conduct thorough reconciliation to resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
    Utilize strong understanding of purchase order system for invoice processing.
    Review general ledger coding for non-purchase order invoices.
    Manage high-volume invoice processing efficiently.
    Provide prompt and clear communication with vendors regarding payment status.
    Apply knowledge of basic sales tax and industry exemptions.
    Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
    Handle foreign currency transactions and exchange rate adjustments.
    Support year-end accounting audits and 1099 processing.
    Assist with special projects as needed.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in related field or 5-7 years of AP Specialist experience.
    Proficient in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (pivot tables & V-lookups).
    Strong planning and organization skills.
    Experience in transportation and freight required


    Language Skills:
    Ability to read and interpret various documents.
    Effective communication with vendors and internal staff.


    Reasoning Ability:
    Problem-solving skills in situations with limited standardization.
    Interpretation of various instructions.


    Other Skills and Abilities:
    Dependability and punctuality are essential.
    Professional demeanor and appearance required.
    Compliance with company policies and safety practices.

    Physical Demands:
    Ability to perform various tasks including sitting, lifting, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and using hands. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.
