- Places stock, and the daily emergency order with PACCAR and other vendors.
- Maintains parts date, ie. Pricing, costing, location, parts received, etc.
- Coordinates parts returns with the various vendors.
- Updates and maintains all vendor rebate programs.
- Maintains a perpetual inventory.
- Produces parts management reports as required by the Parts Manager.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the Parts Department.
- Complete all other duties assigned by the Parts Manager.
- Assist with annual parts inventory physical count, to include actual physical counting of parts, tallying of counts, etc.
- Enters all data necessary to receive parts into the inventory control system. Troubleshoots and resolves problems with same as they arise.

JOB SUMMARY
The purchasing inventory clerk is responsible for parts orders, returns, pricing, and the general maintenance of the parts inventory.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The purchasing/inventory parts department clerk reports directly to the Parts Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information
High school diploma or the equivalent
Clearly legible handwriting
Typing at 60 W.P.M.
Computer terminal data input, 10 key calculator
Two years of general office experience with understanding of office procedures, to include filing, correspondence, basic accounting
Knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills
Excellent organization and communication skills
