    • Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportation Purpose of Position: Results-driven position with project management responsibility to plan and execute small to medium scale tradeshows, as well as support for internal events. Additionally, provide administrative support for Corning Incorporated's Tradeshows, Exhibits & Displays (TE&D) department. Position will work with department supervisor and team members, as well as internal customers, staff groups, and external vendors. Support special projects, as assigned.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Plan and execute small-to-medium scale tradeshows, while adhering to established policies and processes to meet customer requirements.

    Responsible for overall planning, shipping, on-site execution, budget tracking, and post-show follow up, as well as contingency and risk assessment planning.

    Construct/assemble tradeshow booths from modular properties for pre-show walkthroughs and when on-site. Ability to supervise others to do so in accordance with local labor laws while on show site if necessary.
    Support internal events and setups.
    Be a key contributor for internal projects of varying complexities.

    Support miscellaneous administrative tasks as directed by TE&D Supervisor, which could include customer survey distribution, electronic show photo portfolio, monthly and year-end reports.

    Contribute to department time tracking and metrics program to drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness.
    Utilize the Exhibit Force platform for inventory management when utilizing property for show use. Will also take on administrative and reporting responsibilities for the platform.
    Train as Warehouse Operations Coordinator support and back up. Responsibilities could include ship-only requests, opening / closing the Tradeshow location, supporting team members with packing and unpacking shipments.
    Develop professional working relationships with team, customer base and vendors.
    Leverage department technology platforms (i.e. SharePoint, MSFT Teams, FORMS, OneDrive), for tradeshow and department assignments.
    Identify and implement improvement opportunities.

    Travel Requirements:8am - 5pm, M-F, however extended workdays, weekends and holidays may be requiredCandidate to be located in Corning, NY area or within an hour driving distanceCandidate will work daily from the Tradeshow location in Big Flats, NYMust have a valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicleDomestic travel, amount determined by event calendar; expect travel for 1-4 tradeshows per year that average 3-7 consecutive days per show Certificates/Security Clearances/OtherEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with 2+ years of relevant experienceTradeshow or event planning experience preferredThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.

    The range for this position is $39, $54,274.00 assuming full time status.

    Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.

    The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
