    Job Description

    The Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) oversees ABA services, supports a caseload, and provides mentorship to BCBAs. The ACD plays a crucial role in training and guiding BCBAs at the local level.

    Responsibilities-Essential Functions
    • Program oversight for a patient caseload
      • Conducts assessments and develops intervention plans
      • Completes evaluations for potential patients
    • Trains and supervises RBTs and Fieldwork students
      • Assesses competency and provides ongoing training
      • Conducts POD meetings and ensures supervision hours meet requirements
    • Builds positive relationships with families
      • Conducts family guidance sessions and collaborates on treatment plans
      • Coordinates care with physicians and other stakeholders
    • Provides BCBA mentorship and performance guidance
      • Oversees clinical progress and supports performance
      • Implements mentorship curriculum and delivers feedback
      • Uses reports to improve clinical performance

    Provides supervision to BCBAs and BCaBAs, giving feedback and guidance to employees.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work.

    Required Skills-Education and Experience
    • Master's Degree in ABA, Special Education, or Psychology
    • BCBA certification with 2+ years experience
    • Expertise in assessments and curricula
    • Experience in behavior reduction program development
    • Qualifications to supervise BCaBAs and RBTs
    • Ability to provide leadership coaching and training
    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience in instructing on ABA principles
    Preferred Education and Experience
    • Experience supervising BCBA
    • Experience with Medicaid and private-insurance patients
    • Experience in Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-based treatment
