Summary:

BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Speech Therapist (Pool) who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at Winter Haven Hospital which has an outstanding reputation for superior, patient-centered care.

Position: Speech Therapist Pool

Speech Therapist (Pool) Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and develops plan of care to implement specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of the profession of Speech Language Pathology.
• Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for therapists completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), Speech Language Pathology students and volunteers.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• CCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathology)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Speech Therapy License
• MBSImP Certification is preferred

Education:

• Required Master's Speech Therapy
• Preferred Doctorate Speech Therapy

Experience:

• 1 year Clinical Related is preferred
• MBS and FEES experience are preferred
• Acute care experience is preferred

Specific Skills:

• Communication skills including strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Collaborate and work with a team
• Organizational skills
• Computer skills appropriate to position

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or as needed
