    (Burr Ridge, IL) - English Pastor

    The Big Picture

    Chinese Christian Mandarin Church (ccmcenglish.org) is in search of a full-time English Congregation Pastor. The church, situated in the western suburb of Chicago, has separate Mandarin and English congregations. Despite their independence, both congregations work together under one doctrine to serve the community. The role available is for the English congregation consisting of around 20-30 individuals. We are seeking a pastor who fears God and is willing to lead this diverse ministry.

    English Congregation Pastor

    Responsibilities include overseeing the English Ministry at Chinese Christian Mandarin Church (CCMC). The role involves directing the English Sunday Family Worship Service, coordinating with music teams, leading communion services, and organizing guest speakers.

    Other Teaching Roles and Discipleship

    This role includes teaching congregants to be active learners, creating curriculum, recruiting and training leaders, and fostering a culture of prayer within the ministry.

    Evangelism

    Tasks involve developing an evangelism vision, equipping congregants to be witnesses, and engaging in community outreach.

    Fellowship and Church Community

    Engage in fostering fellowship, unity between congregations, facilitating communication, and providing support within the church.

    Leadership and Vision

    Work with the ministry team to establish identity and purpose, collaborate with the senior pastor, and participate in church meetings.

    Event Planning

    Tasks include coordinating missions opportunities, planning retreats, and organizing church-wide events.

    Personal Growth

    Focus on personal spiritual growth through prayer, building relationships within the church, and seeking growth opportunities.
