Overview

Overview:

Werfen San Diego Internship Program is a full-time, paid assignment that takes place over the course of the summer. Internships are open to undergraduate students who are currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university. Internship assignments may be shortened or extended based on the company and/or the student's needs. The Internship program is designed to allow students to learn through direct experience, providing an opportunity to blend textbook knowledge with practical experience.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

Support Marketing Product Managers in the development of marketing and product strategies related to next-generation whole blood hemostasis analyzers, including product concept definition, voice of the customer, product requirements, and product launch
Assist in the development of key marketing and product messages, tactical plans, technical bulletins, and commercial tools
Manage and drive internal projects with minimal supervision
Work independently and able to interface with all levels of management, strategizing and problem-solving

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience for the position:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and assignments simultaneously.
Strong analytical and people skills.
Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ensure and maintain compliance with the Company's quality system requirements through training and adherence to policies, procedures, and processes.
Display strong technical aptitude and learn emerging technologies, including AI-based tools.

The hourly range for this role is $22/hr to $30/hr. Individual compensation will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience and grade level completed.
