    Job Purpose:


    The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

    This person will work on a wide range of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of each project.


    Duties/Responsibilities:
    Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
    Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide project execution.
    Coordinate and prioritize project tasks, resources, and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
    Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues and risks to avoid potential delays and cost overruns.
    Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
    Conduct project status meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
    Evaluate project performance against key metrics and deliverables, implementing corrective actions as needed.
    Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, utilizing change control processes to minimize disruption.
    Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices, promoting continuous process improvement.
    Interact with Purchasing and suppliers to plan for and secure materials needed for projects and future production.
    Requirements:


    Required qualifications:
    Minimum of 8 years of proven track record of successfully managing projects in the manufacturing industry.
    Knowledge of basic manufacturing engineering processes and procedures.
    Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

    Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and client needs.
    Ability to travel as required for project-related meetings and activities.

    Education/Certification/etc required:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business degree required.
    PMP certification is highly preferred.
    Physical Requirements
    Must work full-time, on-site role in our Corydon, Indiana facility
    Unassisted physical mobility around a plant is required.
    Able to work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions.
    Able to lift 50+ lbs
    Able to stand for long periods of time.
