    Overview:

    HALOMD

    The Sr. Manager of Revenue Cycle will lead major initiatives within the Revenue Cycle Department. The Sr. Manager will have the overall responsibility for designing and implementing solutions to meet business objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Recommending and incorporate strategic planning of major projects and identification of areas with need of performance improvement.
    • Oversight, reporting, management, consulting, and analysis for the process of billing and collection of claims
    • Managing the billing staff collections and techniques in relation to the revenue cycle
    • Communicate with executive officers of the Company and its Affiliates daily regarding claims status, staffing requirements or any other additional information requested
    • Timely preparation, accuracy, completeness, and presentation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual, annual, and other interim reports and analysis for Management that relates to the Company's Billing Services, such reports, and analyses to be in the format approved by Management for such presentations
    • Periodic evaluation of productivity levels for Revenue Cycle business unit
    • Monitor the performance of revenue cycle activities utilizing monitoring tool sets and performance metrics.
    • Study current Revenue Cycle best practices, to ensure company leadership is aware of leading-edge technology and processes.
    • Actively engage to stay on top of current industry trends and compliance requirements
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience

    • Minimum of experience in a medical billing office environment in a management role
    • Minimum of an Associates degree in business or related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
    • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

    Skills/Specialized Knowledge

    • Current knowledge and skills in the following: medical billing practices, invoicing, quality control, claims processing, billing resolutions, and experience managing staff members.
    • Knowledge of laws that regulate communication and privacy act. HIPPA laws and understanding of the application of all the above.
    • Exceptional verbal, written communication, and computer skills.
    • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, & Outlook.
    • Must be able to work independently, well-organized and detail oriented.
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
    • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; able to engage with all levels of an organization
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and exercise independent judgement on matters of significance.
