    Danfoss in Milwaukee, WI is searching for a Supply Chain Intern. This intern will gain experience and assist in various supply chain management activities including purchasing, inventory, jobsite material management, and logistics.

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
    • Simple and efficient reporting (standardized reporting of key metrics/KPI's)
    • Determine component order quantities and delivery dates using MRP outputs
    • Actively work with Planners to Establish & Maintain Planning Parameters for Products
    • Drive operational excellence through data analytics and decision support
    • Collaborate with Suppliers for placing purchase orders and expediting material shortages
    • Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to improve on delivery time, reduce stock outs, and lower inventory
    • Assist with daily analysis to help anticipate and resolve potential inventory discrepancies
    • Perform written audits of various operational processes and other procedures

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business
    • Available to work 40 hours per week during Summer 2024. Students able to continue working part-time during the semesters preferred.
    • Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the Milwaukee work site
    • Courses completed: Supply Chain Management, Management Information systems, Inventory management preferred
    • Experience with data mining/analysis and tools (Excel, ERP system)
    • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
    • Ability to communicate effectively through written, verbal and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organization and ability to work well in team environment
    • Hardworking, assertive and enthusiastic personality
