Job Summary
As a Maintenance Tech III at 3M you will collaborate with innovative colleagues around the world on heavy duty maintenance of equipment including crusher steel changes.
Responsibilities include training in belt repair welding fabrication oil lube mechanical equipment repair replacement bearings bushings clutches brakes couplings drive components replace adjust pump seals gear boxes transmissions troubleshoot/repair mechanical equipment pneumatics hydraulics valves pumping equipment forklift operation assist moving material equipment machinery standard methods lifting rigging hoisting blocking skidding rolling operate PIVs perform Preventive Predictive Emergency Maintenance production equipment lifting hoisting material handling safety devices facility utilities following standard procedures PM route sheets manuals shop records reporting system corporate policies procedures code conduct safe work procedures safety policies personal protective equipment corporate quality processes checks communicate cross-functionallyYour Skills Expertise
Possess High School Diploma GED higher Minimum one year Mechanical experience pass Tech I & Tech II training program tests within six months start date employment will terminated Ability work weekends overtime holidays short notice coverage ALL SHIFTS obtain certification operate PIVs Forklift Additional qualifications may help succeed even further in this role two-year technical degree accredited institution Minimum three years mechanical experience private public government military environment Heavy Equipment Vehicle Repair recent experience working mine quarry cement plant similar industry Experience Microsoft Office Suite Performs acceptable craft skill set level meet plant production quality requirements reads understand mechanical drawings Experience basic machining setting operating shop portable power tools precision measuring equipmenExperience Lean Manufacturing environment Experience hazardous waste material.
