    Accounting Manager:
    Responsibilities

    :

    Assist with month-end closing process including preparing/posting journal entries and preparing/reviewing account reconciliations.

    Review work orders to ensure that costs are properly classified as capital or expense and are recorded in the proper account, cost-center and period.

    Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting procedural standards in a timely manner.

    Review accuracy of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory balances in the accounting system.
    Review CIP and other fixed asset transactions for compliance with Company policy.
    Perform capital expenditure analysis.

    Perform review of accounts payable transactions to ensure that amounts are coded correctly, reflected in the proper accounting period, and properly classified as intercompany or related party as necessary.

    Analyze cost fluctuations compared to prior periods and forecasts.
    Monitor and balance intercompany accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    Assist with internal and external audit requests.
    Work on special projects and perform other duties and projects as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related
    Experience with a publicly-traded company preferred
    Minimum 5 years' experience,1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
    CPA/CMA preferred but not required.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
    Ability to travel occasionally as required.
