    Summary/objective

    The Investment Advisor is responsible for analyzing clients' potential real estate investments and formulating creative financing strategies that help clients achieve their goals.

    This position will work directly with Corridor Funding's professional real estate investor clientele in an advisory capacity.

    They will be responsible for managing relationships with clients, understanding client objectives, determining the best financing options for clients, presenting options to clients in a meaningful way, and delivering financing proposals to senior management.

    The IA will analyze and understand all parts of clients' financial and investment situation and recommend effective financing solutions in line with company guidelines.

    Conduct initial Discovery Meeting with prospective clients via telephone or Zoom (or like program).

    Interviews potential clients to understand their investment goals and prequalifies them based on Corridor Funding guidelines.

    Review and analyze potential real estate investment deals from clients, determining profitability, ROI, etc.


    Formulate an investment financing strategy utilizing one or more different loan products offered by Corridor Funding that meets clients' objectives.


    Explain the differences between Corridor Funding and other competitors, specifically identifying Unique Selling Points (USPs) in order to assist prospective clients choose a lender.

    Prepare and present lending packages summarizing client qualifications, deal analysis, and proposed lending strategies to senior management.


    Maintain accurate and current information for all clients in company Client Relationship Management (CRM) software and Loan Origination System (LOS).

    Assist clients with completion of lending applications; inspecting completed documents for accuracy and completeness.


    Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in national and local real estate markets; current and predicted lending rates; and changes in rules, regulations, and best practices of various areas of commercial real estate lending.

    Maintain working relationships with clients throughout the life of the loan and after the project is complete. Check in regularly with previous clients to procure future business with them and/or referrals.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Competencies
    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    Basic understanding of financial markets

    Proficient with Microsoft Excel and related software.

    Travel required
    Minimal Travel may be required to meet with local clients on occasion. Voluntary participation in one national lending conference or industry association meeting per year is encouraged.
    Preferred education and experience
    Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent level of experience.

    One to three years of prior experience in real estate, lending, consumer finance or related field preferred.
