Job summary
This position involves operating cash registers processing member purchases maintaining merchandise presentation verifying patient information and filling prescriptions.
Responsibilities
- Maintains merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking rotating merchandise supplies received from distribution centers and suppliers removing damaged or out-of-date goods setting up cleaning organizing product displays signing pricing merchandise securing fragile high-shrink merchandise.
- Fills prescriptions by retrieving prescription orders counting pouring measuring weighing medication tablets liquids creams mixing reconstituting medications as needed selecting filling labeling prescription containers operating scanning equipment automated dispensing systems ensuring prescription accuracy.
