Main Details:
Overview of the Role:
As a Physical Therapist, your main goal is to assess, plan, and execute rehabilitative programs to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and prevent disability. Your responsibilities also include educating patients and caregivers on treatment plans and ensuring compliance with program objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate patient care and equipment needs
- Identify and refer patients to other specialists when necessary
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Assist in ensuring optimal patient care and communication
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Conduct patient evaluations and implement care plans
- Provide treatments and interventions based on best practices
- Document patient progress accurately
Education/License/Certification and Experience:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapist licensure in Alabama
- Minimum of three years of experience
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer systems and software programs
- Expertise in delivering quality physical therapy services
- Strong time and resource management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Successful completion of background checks
- Travel readiness for training and events
- Ability to meet all job responsibilities effectively
