    THE ROLE:


    The Business Development Specialist is responsible to drive new business through lead generation, appointment scheduling, management of the tools and collateral, qualifying potential clients, and working closely with the sales agent(s) to close new deals.

    The business development specialist is a key partner with the sales team and must have a service orientation, basic selling skills knowledge, is comfortable dealing with affluent consumers base and high-volume follow-up.


    DAY IN THE LIFE:
    Responsible to generate leads through a variety of techniques in the local market.
    Conducts basic prospecting and cold calling.
    Partners with the Marketing Specialists to create local campaigns and collateral for lead generation and planned events.
    Sets up functions in the local community to create excitement and generate leads.
    Follow up on leads to qualify and schedule with an agent.
    Maintaining accurate data and information to be real time and actionable.
    Inputs all leads into Salesforce and updates regularly.

    Works closely with the sales agent to work through sales process together owning all scheduling of meetings, appointments in the design studio, and / or to onsite location visits.

    Conducts market research to identify target areas and consumers.
    Uses market intelligence tools to identify leads and conduct cold calling.
    Provides sales agent and corporate sales team with updates and statuses.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    College degree preferred.
    Real Estate License optional.
    2-4 years of sales support experience.
    Homebuilding or industry with high sales prices.
    Salesforce experience a plus.
    Has desire to grow into a sales role.
    Able to travel locally.

    The compensation range for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
