    About the Position


    The Financial Manager position will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing by preparing and posting journal entries, analyzing general ledger accounts, and performing monthly reconciliations and any other necessary documentation.

    The Finance Manager will also perform internal audits, certify reports, and be heavily involved with supporting the company through internal and external audit requests.

    The Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining an accurate fixed asset system working with management. This position will support Controller's current activities.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESExecute and improve month end closing process by preparing and posting journal entries with accuracy and efficiencyPrepare and document monthly general ledger reconciliations with a high level of attention to detailResearching and correcting account discrepancies and proposing adjusting entries when necessaryDirectly oversee accounts payable and accounts receivableManage and review sales invoices to ensure appropriate revenue recognitionAssist with internal audit fieldwork for both operational and financial auditsContribution and support to monitoring the internal control environment by completing reviews, evaluations, and segregation of duties analysisMaintain accurate fixed asset systemCollect and prepare data to assist the company or corporate with federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.

    Work with the finance department to position the company for a change in ERP system and continue to support and maintain the systemDocument and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for financial transactions when necessaryMine data from necessary sources to create management reports and dashboardsKeeps abreast of current trends and practices in field of expertise.

    Assumes other special activities and responsibilities as directed.


    QUALIFICATIONS5-7years of experience in financeBachelor's degree in finance or accountingCPA or CMA valuedWorking knowledge of Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) and accounting systemsFinancial analysis capabilities with a strong ability to mine data from various sources andcreate reports and dashboardsProficient with MS Office Suite including strong Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsVerbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-starting, self-prioritizing, and the ability to stay focused in a changing environmentAbility to be very detail oriented, especially when preparing reports or otherwise reporting financial and accounting information required.

    Strong team presence and the ability to collaborate with others and build relationships with all levels of the organization
