- Well established practice treating all aspects of Orthopedics.
- This position will assist in expanding patient access and providing exceptional care throughout our dedicated podiatry services.
- Our goal is to work at the top of the scope of practice.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service while fostering positive relationships with a drive to develop skills and/or have experience with podiatry.
- We work as a team and really strive to maintain a family/home and work life balance.
- Assist Orthopedists in surgical cases and hospital rounding.
- Call is 1:6.
- Previous orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
- Outreach to other Essentia clinics may be asked in the future. We currently provide orthopedic care in Pine River, Cross Lake, Hackensack, Deerwood, Pierz and Pillager. Our new Staples clinic will also offer Orthopedic care after it opens in the Summer of 2024.
- Very Competitive compensation package.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota Current certification in CPR. National certification, in applicable area. Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.
