    Job Description


    Join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department, providing critical care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on various common diagnoses such as Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. Our unit is equipped with specialty equipment, including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun, with a total of 64 beds and specialized areas for triage and trauma.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
    • Handle a wide range of patient diagnoses and conditions.
    • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Participate in triage and assessment of patients.
    • Assist with emergency interventions and procedures.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department nursing, with pediatric experience preferred.
    • Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
    • Active RN license in New York and all relevant licenses verified through NURSYS.
    • Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
    • Must possess a driver's license with a matching address.
    • Travel experience and skills checklist matching specialty.
