    Overview

    This position is located at our Bonney Road office in Virginia Beach, Virginia

    Hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday

    The primary responsibility of this position is to administer residential construction loans to builders, including review of related documents, coordination of inspections, monitoring completion against schedules, disbursement of funds and associated recording, and conversion to permanent mortgage when construction is complete. Incumbents at the Senior level will generally complete assignments with a higher degree of scope and complexity compared to the core level, and will provide administrative support to the builder registration program.

    Responsibilities
    • Monitor, accept, review and process draw requests, schedule inspections, disburse funds to borrowers, and record all activities in accordance with established procedures
    • Process loan conversion to permanent mortgage when construction is complete, prepare necessary paperwork, ensure all approvals and signatures are obtained, follow up with borrowers as required and respond directly to any inquiries
    • Monitor loan pipeline and job completion vs schedules, prepare notifications to borrowers regarding extension and related options, and process loan extensions as required
    • Source, compile and organize builder information in support of the registration process, order credit reports, contact references, record and maintain registered builder information


    Qualifications

    Education

    High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)

    Experience

    5 or more years Mortgage loan or Construction Administration. (Required)

    3 or more years Residential Construction Loan Administration. (Required)

    This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
