- Responsible for the quality of workmanship, function and cosmetic appearance of the product, and tool upkeep.
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications.
- Works with the team for continuous improvement ideas to obtain a labor target of less the 3%.
- Responsible for continually identifying and implementing efficiency improvements.
- Inform supervisor of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem
- Assembler monitors inventory levels and advises supervisor of potential part shortages.
- Responsible for visually inspecting items.
- Immediately notifies supervisor when problems arise.
- Makes optimum use of time and keeps work area clean and neat.
- Abides by all the policies, procedures, guidelines of the Company, including conformance to good common sense safety practices and regulations.
- Will need to have basic computer skills and knowledge of hand held scanners.

The Assembler, working from a build schedule, fits and assembles metal fab, machined, rotomolded, electrical, injection molded, and cast parts to build various floor cleaning equipment according to specifications, using a variety of hand & power tools.
