    ACC West Coast is a heavy civil construction company specializing in retrofitting and repairing bridges - as well as performing specialized pavement overlays throughout the country for various DOT's and Public Works Agencies.

    We are growing our business and searching for knowledgeable, dedicated individuals that will complement our team. Our experienced crews and management team work together to complete high-quality work in a timely manner.


    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Located in McLeansville, North Carolina, ACC West is searching for a full-time Union CDL Driver to join their team. Well-qualified candidates will be able ability to safely run low boy, commercial pick-up trucks, semis.

    Responsibilities


    • Ability to safely run low boy, commercial pick-up trucks, semis.
    • Haz-Mat endorsement a plus.
    • Valid Class A driver's license and medical card.
    • Employees will be expected to go to job sites and as a team perform designated work.
    • Complete work orders as scheduled in a timely, professional, safe manner.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.
    Knowledge and Skills


    • Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.
    • Knows how to operate and maintain equipment needed to perform job tasks.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Must be physically capable of regularly lift/pull/carry 30-50 pounds, climb a ladder and negotiate uneven soil conditions.
    • Knowledge of construction safety practices.
    Qualifications


    • GED
    • High School Diploma
    Position Requirements


    • 1 year experience preferred.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future.
