Assistant Project Manager TS/SCI


Overview of the Company:

Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with an active security clearance to join their team in Washington DC & Surrounding Area.

This position is responsible for assisting the Project Management Team with the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of project(s) to meet time and cost objectives with respect to safety, contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Management Team in daily management and supervision of projects
Develop cost estimates of assigned projects
Prepare and submit project submittals and maintain project logs
Provide support information to project construction progress schedule
Prepare change proposals, negotiate change orders, and issue change orders to subcontractors

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field or equivalent construction experience
Must have active security clearance at TS/SCI, but willing to consider TS or S level and sponsor for higher clearance level
Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction project management, including safety standards
Project management and scheduling software experience (i.e., MS Project or other)
MS Office - Microsoft Word & Excel experience.
