- Conduct in-person outreach at local events and some phone outreach (90% in person events / 10% phone)
- Provide information on local resources, conduct enrollments, or provide educational social care materials
- Provide post-event support as required, which may include following up with participants after the event
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
- Complete daily data entry and required paperwork in a timely manner
- Consistently meet goals set by leadership
- Participate in daily, weekly, monthly team meetings
- Other tasks as assigned by leadership
- Associate's degree or commensurate professional work experience
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience conducting community outreach
- Able to commit to a 40 hour per week work schedule
- Able to accommodate a flexible schedule - some events may occur during the day, evenings, or weekends
- Must have access to a vehicle, proof of insurance and valid driver's license to perform essential job functions
- Basic computer skills and comfortable learning new technologies
- Strong time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (any language) would be a big plus
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and random drug screenings
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
