Job Summary:
The Housekeeper at Courtyard by Marriott - Niagara Falls is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This individual will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to uphold the high standards of our brand and provide exceptional service to our guests. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry, located in Niagara Falls, New York.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $15 to $16 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. Other benefits include health insurance, paid sick time, and employee discounts at Marriott properties.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities
Clean and maintain public areas, including corridors, elevators, and lobby
Clean and maintain back-of-house areas, including employee break room and laundry room
Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests
Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Attend and actively participate in all team meetings and training sessions
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper equipment usage, and techniques
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
