    The Senior Director of Development and Advocacy is responsible for creating, implementing, and continually evaluating a comprehensive and multi-faceted individual donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategy. In partnership with the Chief Development Officer, the successful candidate will work closely with the Mission Delivery and the Marketing & Communications teams to create and build opportunities to grow awareness among current and prospective donor constituencies to expand positive fundraising relationships, and ultimately increase revenue for the Council. This role will also interact with the Senior Management Team, the Board of Directors, and other leaders throughout the Council to grow the individual giving pipeline. Additionally, this role partners with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Development Officer and Council lobbyist to secure government funds and develop and maintain relationships with key elected officials. The Senior Director of Development and Advocacy will have direct and indirect supervisory responsibilities.

    The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of related Development experience and prior management experience.
