    Description
    Eleni's is seeking to expand its dedicated hospitality team. Eleni's philosphy on hospitality seeks to marry quality and consistency of service and food; with the organic and simple nature of the Greek household. Our commitment to our neighboorhood and our guests stands above all as we format traditional Greek food and elevated beverage service, heavily centered on Greek wine and spirits. Candidates should possess a powerful motivation and dedication to consistently providing heartfelt and attentive service, in a relaxing and home-like atmosphere.

    Host/Hostess Responsibilities include:

    • Greet upon arrival and interact with guests in a professional, warm and courteous manner and develop guest relationships
    • Navigate reservations platform and client database proficiently
    • Exhibit knowledge of Eleni's menus, culinary style and concept, reservations policies, operating hours, and other facts about the restaurants and be able to address common guest inquiries
    • Handle various guest interactions, including but not limited to reservations, confirmation calls, guest reservation requests, and pick-up/delivery requests
    • Maintain clean dining room and restaurant and adhere to all health and safety standards

    Host/Hostess Requirements include:

    • Resy and POS system knowledge preferred
    • Substantive host and reservationist experience preferred
    • Genuine passion for restaurant hospitality and service
    • Energetic and friendly personality, with strong willingness and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and to support colleagues regardless of role, and a positive communication style
    • Ability to multi-task and perform in high-volume, high-intensity restaurant
    • Physical requirements include: ability to handle and carry trays, smallware, equipment, and to stand, walk up and down stairs, and exert well-paced mobility for extended period of time
    • Flexible schedule and open availability (full-time/part time) to meet business needs
