    Job Summary and Qualifications
    The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of

    the ionizing

    radiation

    in accordance with

    the established professional and departmental standards

    .

    The CT

    Technologist

    provides

    high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

    What you will do in this role:

    You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
    You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
    You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
    You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
    You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
    You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

    What qualifications you will need:
    Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
    Must be Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT) CT registration

    required

    BCLS
    required

    upon hire.
    Two years of experience preferred with

    additional

    training in CT scanning.
    On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of

    call

    back.

    Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    Registered Computerized Tomography Technician must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
    Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
    State Registered Radiologic Technician
    Associate Degree


    This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

    We have a specialty obstetrics referral center for high risk OB services. We have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Medical City Lewisville is a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center.
