    Type: Contract through EOY, likely to extend

    Pay: $55-60

    Job description:

    Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst for one of our largest medical device clients. For this role, you must be local to Minneapolis, MN and willing to work onsite up to 3x a week in Arden Hills. To be successful in this role, you must have experiences and a background supporting field users, operational functions, and service-oriented teams, preferably within the medical device industry. You will play a crucial role in analyzing requirements and needs for field-facing technology solutions, leading solution assessments, RFP processes, and collaborating with project managers, architects, and delivery teams to execute projects successfully. This role sits within their Commercial IT team and requires strong communication skills, desire to take lead, and collaborate with others.

    Requirements:

    Bachelors degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.

    Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in medical device industry and with commercial technology solutions.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and systems.

    Experience leading solution assessment activities and RFP processes, including vendor evaluation and selection.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices, with the ability to work closely with project managers and development teams.

    Knowledge of field-facing technology solutions, such as CRM systems, mobile applications, and data analytics tools, is highly desirable.

    Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work.

    Plusses - competitive advantage:

    Medical device industry experience is a plus.

    Knowledge of change management principles

    Key responsibilities:

    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for field-facing technology solutions.

    Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

    Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and functional requirements documents.

    Lead solution assessment activities, evaluating potential technology solutions and vendors to meet business needs.

    Coordinate and facilitate RFP processes, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather proposals and evaluate solutions.

    Work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and development teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects.

    Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to inform technology decisions.

    Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of technology solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and expectations.

    Provide ongoing support and assistance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
