    Responsibilities:

    THE ROLE:

    In this role, you will work closely with the Sr. Director, Finance to manage the daily operations of the accounting team and provide financial support to brand leaders in various markets. You will oversee financial processes, assist in the production of financial reports, build and train offshore teams, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Manage Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable, receivables, leases, and related accounting for multiple Brands, ensuring accurate and timely processing in compliance with GAAP and company policies
    • Financial Liaison: Serve as a financial liaison between Brand Leaders and the corporate finance team, providing accurate financials within established deadlines and facilitating intercompany reconciliations
    • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development, while also building and training offshore accounting teams
    • Acquisition Integration: Support the financial integration of new partnerships, facilitating the transition of banking, accounts payable, and general accounting processes for seamless integration
    • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
    • General Ledger Oversight: Manage general ledger functions, including reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close activities to maintain accurate financial records
    • Internal Controls: Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, acting as the primary contact for external auditors
    • Budgeting Support: Collaborate with the finance team to build budgets for assigned Brands, providing insight and analysis for informed financial planning and decision-making

    You will collaborate with your dynamic team in person 3x per week at our corporate office.

    The expected California Pay Range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 annually.

    Qualifications:

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, demonstrating mastery of accounting principles
    • 5+ years of supervisory experience, exhibiting strong leadership abilities
    • Offshore team experience is advantageous
    • Bachelors degree and/or CPA preferred
    • Multi-location experience required, managing accounting operations across diverse locations
    • Excellent communication skills, essential for effective collaboration
    • Proven ability to excel in fast-paced environments, with a keen eye for detail and reliability
