Cardiac Perfusionist - Madera, United States - Valley Children's Healthcare

SUMMARY:

This position is accountable for the operation and maintenance of cardiovascular perfusion for patients requiring support in the OR or other areas of the hospital. This includes cardiopulmonary bypass, cell savers, and intra-aortic balloon pumping in the operating rooms, supervision of ExtraCorporeal Life Support (ECLS) technologies in the OR and PICU, and the use of these technologies during transport.

QUALIFICATIONS :

EXPERIENCE :

Pediatric perfusion experience is preferred

Strong desire to work in pediatrics

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited perfusion program is required

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position

Certified Cardiac Perfusionist (CCP) from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists (ABCP) is required within 24 months of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS:

Part-time, 40 hours per pay period

$ $103.00
