    Description

    As the HR Coordinator with this renowned think tank, you will be providing day-to-day support to the HR team in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Your role will offer variety across HR functions from hiring, onboarding/offboarding, and event planning to general office support needs. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, naturally interested in policy, an excellent communicator, has some HR experience and interested in establishing roots in their next role.

    About the Job:

    • Manage employee recruiting, hiring, and training needs, including onboarding and offboarding processes with strong customer service.
    • Prepare and coordinate interviews for personnel. Communicate effectively across departments.
    • Compile and maintain HR records and accounts.
    • Upload new hire forms and manage files in talent acquisition software system. Edit and update employee records including salary changes, address changes, name changes, etc.
    • Liaise with different departments (payroll, IT, etc.) to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of data or records.
    • Handle incoming HR inquiries from internal staff.
    • Assist HR leadership team with special projects relating to recruiting and benefits, employee-wide distributed internal memos and newsletters.
    • Assist the HR Department with tasks that address and support efficient business practices.
    • Plan and manage memorable employee appreciation events and gifts to encourage staff engagement and retention.

    About You:

    • Degreed with HR experience. You have a Bachelors Degree, a minimum 3.5 GPA, and at least 1 year of experience in an HR role.
