    Urology Locum Physician Immediate Temporary Coverage


    Are you a dedicated Urology specialist looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible scheduling? Our healthcare facility urgently seeks a highly qualified Urologist to provide essential clinic and operating room coverage due to an internal medical leave.

    This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care on a temporary basis, with the flexibility to work primarily during weekdays without weekend obligations.


    In this role, you will deliver exceptional urological care through outpatient clinics and surgical procedures, primarily serving Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

    No call responsibilities are required, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

    The ideal candidate will have an active New Mexico medical license, a clean professional history, and immediate availability to start in November or December.

    Preference will be given to providers willing to commit at least one week per month, ideally two, to ensure seamless coverage.


    Required Skills:
    Valid and active medical license in New Mexico
    Board certification or eligibility in Urology
    Proven experience in outpatient urology clinics and surgical procedures
    Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Prior experience in locum tenens roles
    Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
    Additional surgical or subspecialty certifications
    Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, to serve diverse patient populations


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    Completion of Urology residency program
    Minimum of 3 years of clinical Urology practice
    Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous


    Other Requirements:
    Must hold an active New Mexico medical license
    Must be able to start by November or December
    Willingness to commit to a schedule of at least one week per month, preferably two
    Ability to provide clinic and surgical care exclusively; no call duties required
    Availability for in-person coverage at the healthcare facility
