Spearhead the advancement of large-scale renewable energy projects from inception to completion, including onshore wind, solar, and hydrogen initiatives, with a focus on driving impactful, sustainable change in the energy sector.

    Job Description

    The Development Manager (Solar + Wind) will be responsible for:

  • Oversee projects from land acquisition and environmental diligence to engineering design, permitting/entitlements, and interconnection/transmission service requests.
  • Cultivate connections with public officials and local stakeholder groups to foster project support.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to reach development milestones effectively.
  • Expect frequent travel across the United States, with a primary focus on projects in the West and Midwest regions.

    The Development Manager (Solar + Wind) will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in renewable energy project development, real estate development, or the utility/energy sector.
  • Proven track record in acquiring land and overseeing land acquisition processes for renewable energy initiatives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with zoning regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Understanding of interconnection procedures, transmission systems, and utility markets.
  • Strong capacity to establish and nurture relationships with landowners, public officials, and various project stakeholders.
  • Team player with the capability to autonomously manage project priorities, tasks, and objectives.

    What's on Offer

    The Development Manager (Solar + Wind) will be eligible for

    $130,000 - $160,000 base salary

    Annual bonus + project milestone bonuses
