    Job Overview

    Captivation Software is looking for a mid-level software integration engineer who shall develop software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment supporting an 'on-prem' cloud offering with open source software using Kubernetes, Docker, Rook, and other cutting-edge software.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop software tools and services in a PaaS Linux environment.
    • Support the development of tools and services that increase the efficiency of software to production within a DevOps culture.

    Requirements

    • Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Minimum Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
      • The individual shall have five (5) years full-time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
    • Required Skills:
      • Experience with Linux CLI.
      • Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python.
      • General technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
      • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible.
    • Desired Skills:
      • Experience using Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications.
      • Experience using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
      • Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications.

    Benefits

    • Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience).
