    As a Cath Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in our cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting physicians in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. You will work as part of a highly skilled team, directly assisting with minimally invasive procedures and ensuring optimal patient care throughout. This is a dynamic and demanding role, requiring a strong commitment to patient safety, technical expertise, and teamwork.

    Job Details:

    • 13 week assignment
    • Varying 10 hour day shifts
    • 1 call day per week, 1 call weekend per month
    • Weekly gross $2,900
    Responsibilities:
    • Assist physicians with invasive cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing sterile equipment, monitoring vital signs, and anticipating needs.
    • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests as instructed by physicians.
    • Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment, ensuring its functionality and sterility.
    • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as directed by physicians.
    • Monitor patient responses to procedures and document observations accurately.
    • Assist with patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
    • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
    • Educate patients about procedures and post-procedural care.
    • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Stay up-to-date on advances in cardiac technology and best practices.
    Qualifications:
    • Associate degree in Cardiac Catheterization Technology or a related field.
    • Certification in Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting.
    • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
    • Proficient in sterile technique and infection control procedures.
    • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
