Overview
The Clinical Director (Team Leader) works as part of an Assertive Community Team that provides care and treatment for people served that are experiencing significant mental health/psychiatric symptoms, who are demonstrating significant functional impairments, and who may have co-occurring chemical dependency.
Responsibilities
Provides clinical oversight of service delivery and supportive supervision
Conducts screening and intakes in collaboration with the psychiatric provider(s)
Provides clinical consultation
Responsible for crisis management
Manages a small caseload in providing direct services
Manages hiring and oversees onboarding of new employees
Responsible for oversight and approval of clinical documentation, assessments and treatment planning
Oversees program budget and familiarizes themselves with rate setting
Implements established company policies on health, safety, security, code of conduct and regulation
Qualifications
Masters degree in one of the behavioral sciences
License as a LICSW, LPCC, LMFT or LP
2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services;
Supervision experience preferred
Familiarity with the civil commitment process and behavioral health case management
Knowledge of Assertive Community Treatment fidelity standards, ACT statutes, and accreditation
Competency in evidenced based practices
