Description
The Musket Room is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a part-time server.Candidates should have a minimum of one year's experience in fine dining, with preference given to those with history at Michelin Star establishments.
We are looking for people who bring confidence and dynamism to the guest experience, while still maintaining a personable and approachable demeanor.
Servers at The Musket Room are expected to drive the guest experience, not only for their assigned section, but for the floor as a whole.
We maintain a team atmosphere, with the expectation that all staff take ownership of providing our guests with a unique and memorable visit each and every time.
Servers will have a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu, and be able to converse with guests about them.
They will also have confidence presenting, pouring, and speaking about our wine pairings, as well as by-the-glass and by-the-bottle offerings.
Fine dining steps of service should be second nature.
Our team atmosphere also necessitates that candidates for this position be willing to assist all team members in the execution of their tasks during a shift.
They will be willing to jump in and help bus or mise a table, run food, or greet guests at the door.
"That's not my job" is not an acceptable response at The Musket Room.
Hourly wages are at New York State minimum, and servers receive a full share in the shift tip pool for a fully-completed shift.
