A client of Insight Globals is looking for a Model-Based Systems Engineer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. The Model-Based Systems Engineer will work in a matrixed organization, supporting multiple programs at once in various engineering fields.

From large-scale programs like the Hypersonics Weapons Program and Enduring Shield Program to smaller-scale programs, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse programs and expand their expertise.

SysML Modeling:

Develop a comprehensive SysML model using Cameo System Modeler to create system architecture diagrams, system behavior diagrams, and requirements specifications aligned with customer needs.

Collaborative Engineering:

Interface with program management and design engineers to support system engineering needs throughout the design life cycle, including modeling system behavior, defining system architecture, and performing requirements verification.

Leadership and Liaison:

Lead the modeling effort for a team of 5 Systems Engineers, guiding them in interfacing with the model, and support customer meetings by presenting technical material from the system model.

Formal Design Reviews:
Present systems engineering artifacts in formal design reviews and serve as a customer liaison for various programs.

Bachelors Degree and preferrable 6 years of experience
Cameo Systems Modeler experience using SysML
Experience in deriving requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems.
