    Job Description:


    At Regions, the Structured Products Analyst will support senior deal team members in all aspects of the group's financing activities, including deal origination, structuring, underwriting, and asset management.

    Analyst responsibilities require significant transaction involvement in both SPG's primary lending products, Asset Securitization and Private Capital Subscription Lines, as well as Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) underwriting.

    This full-time position puts motivated Analysts on track for Associate roles; analysts will develop exceptional analytical skills, gain exposure, build relationships, and have leadership opportunities that position them for future growth.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Performs detailed analysis, cash flow modeling and risk assessments to evaluate the performance and potential risks associated with existing, engaged, and prospective structured transactions
    • Conducts industry and market research, staying abreast of client and industry trends and identifying potential impacts on the Structured Products Group
    • Works closely with team members and cross-functional teams within the bank to prepare internal documentation such as screening, transaction approval and ABS underwriting memos
    • Participates in client due diligence and credit screening meetings
    • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure transactions are closed and clients onboarded in line with bank policy and procedures
    • Performs portfolio management activities for covered transactions including various types of management reporting

    This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

    This position is incentive eligible.
    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree with proven record of high achievement
    • Coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance
    Preferences

    • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
    • Past relevant experience (i.e., summer internships or 1-2 years experience)

    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure

    Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.

    Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include:
    experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

    The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

    Incentive Pay Plans:
