TheUniversity of Vermont Health Network Medical Group is hiring a
Vice President/Head, Human Resources.
In this newly-created role, the VP will provide strategic and transformational leadership to all UVM Health Network physicians (~1,200) who are part of a broad and complex organizational structure including 6 hospitals, a university, community clinics and numerous therapeutic specialties.
The VP will be a strong "connector" of people, a "builder," will seamlessly straddle both strategic and operational responsibilities and will have a passion for developing talent.
Strong change management required as the Group transitions its structure.The VP will also contribute directly to the Network-wide efficacy of the HR function within a shared service matrixed environment.
The VP will be a full member of the UVMMG leadership team and Network Leadership Council and will be onsite in Burlington 1 day/week with travel to all other Vermont-based locations as needed, with some remote work and some flexibility.
The VP will lead a team of 20+.Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus minimum 15+ years' best-in-class HR experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility required with 5+ years' as an HR leader of a large multi-specialist HR function.
Master's degree preferred. Strong experience with providers and/or physician practices preferred.
Ideal candidates will be high-potential HR leaders who are well-rounded within the HR discipline and who employ a "servant leadership" philosophy.
